Corner View: Growing

When C. accidently broke the handle of my favorite Anthropologie mug I thought it would never be used again. But as you can see we found another purpose for it. We’re growing avocado tree in it. It all started some time ago: we wanted to show G. what can happen when you put an avocado seed in the water. For many weeks nothing happened. She would check every day for some signs of a plant springing but there was nothing there to get excited about. And then one day, when we all lost our hopes,  we noticed a tiny bud growing from the split seed. Since then, it’s been growing rapidly. Soon it will be time to transplant it into soil. I hope it will be successful.

Bonus photo: my bump is growing too. This is Baby F. at 31 weeks. Time is flying!

Happy Wednesday!

  10. You are a beauty for sure!
And the avos are great. Be sure you give it a large space. They grow to be massive trees.
