Corner View: Animal

When I was a child I was obsessed with horses. I collected everything on their subject: books, stickers, postcards, magazines etc. Every visit to the stables was an exciting event. And yet, I never rode a horse (and I don't think I ever will). I still think that they are one of the most beautiful animals though.

The first photo was taken in summer 2009, in the stables near my home town in Poland. The second image was taken in the stables in Wimbledon, London, in 2006.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. I too was obsessed with horses, but now I am kind of scared of them since being thrown off one in Australia.

  3. I love horses too. I rode when I was younger. They have hearts of golds and gentle spirits. In fact if I could have one in my house I would. Maybe if you just sat on an old one, would make you feel safe. xo

  10. I too was obsessed with horses! I even wanted to be a horse riding teacher (is it how we say?)! I don't ride anymore, but I still love them as much as I did as a child.
    Beautiful pictures!

  12. I thought the same as Nadine about Cloe---I do like how that woman thinks!:>)
Lovely horses. The book Black Beauty made a huge impression on me. I too always wanted my own horse, but that hasn't happened although I have ridden them. They are beautiful, soulful animals.

  13. I rode a horse once in South America - it's quite an experience: I felt a little vulnerable so high up, and on a hard and strong animal (I guess I'd only petted kitties until then :))
