Corner View: M is for...

...moving...
...from one capital....
...to another.

We are still in the process of settling down, unpacking boxes, finding ourselves in a completely new place, dealing with post-moving mess (three boxes with some books, DVDs and external hard drive were lost by the moving company and there's no hope they will ever be found...).
We're loving it here. Everything is so different, new to us and exciting and the only downside so far is the weather: so cold, rainy and windy. Unpredictable and capricious. It feels like it's already autumn here. But the city is beautiful and there is so much to explore out there.

  4. Scotland is pure beauty - windy, rainy, yes, but people are kind and warm (at least the ones I met there), the cheescakes are superb and the landscapes ... ahhh, you know what I mean. May your new life be special!

  5. What a surprise - I imagined somewhere south! I was in Edinburgh on one of the rare hot spells, and I remember how wonderful the long days and short nights felt. Hope your transition to your new home in a new city is smooth for you family.

  11. What a surprise!
Sorry to hear about the loss of teh external hard drives. That would likely bring me to tears as it would mean all my images would be gone too. So sorry.
Can't wait for you to be settled & start sharing images of your new home.
