My wooden needles... I don't have many of them but the ones I own, I love. Few years ago when I started knitting, I used to always buy metal needles: they were a bit cheaper and I simply didn't know the difference. But after some time I found out that knitting with wooden needles is more pleasurable and gives better results (in my case at least).

You have some beautiful needles! I have a large stash of inherited metal needles, but I never use them. I'm a big fan of wooden and bamboo needles too. They feel so much more comfortable in your hands than metal.
ReplyDeleteI agree! :)
ReplyDeleteBeside the fact wood is a beautiful material, the click-clicking of the needles must sound different too. Lower tones, more soothing ... :^)
ReplyDeleteyour needles make a wonderful art display. xo
ReplyDeleteSplendid photo. I'm loving my 2 wooden crochet hooks, I wish wooden hooks came in all sizes.
ReplyDelete'you don't have many'.
ReplyDeletei beg your pardon, for that's a (beautiful) understatement...

ReplyDeleteWooden needles rock! :)
ReplyDeleteknitting with metal needles or with wooden ones would for sure lead to the same result for me ;-)! Still your wooden needles are very nice
ReplyDeleteoh wow, I nearly want to start knitting.
ReplyDeletealso, the thought of needle juice made me smile :)
Oh, they are beautiful, even without knitting anything! It's obvious why knitting is more fun with these! ;o)
ReplyDeleteThose are the nicest knitting needles I've seen! If the ones I owned looked like that, I'd be a wooden needle girl, too.
