Lately I've been improvising a lot when knitting. I start with a clear idea in my head but then, quite spontaneously, I decide to knit it differently. I never know how my project will turn out. Some get abandoned on the way (like this green mitten in the photo above), some come out nicely.
I also improvise when I cook. I never plan what I'm going to cook, when it's time for lunch or supper I open the fridge and that cook whatever comes to my mind. And I'm bad with following recipes. I like cooking, a lot.

I can't improvising when knitting... I'm not to good to do that !!
ReplyDeleteYou are a multi improviser!! I love it. xo
ReplyDeleteI think your improvising with knitting is called creating patterns!
ReplyDeleteI was always improvising, but the project I am working on now, is a regular knitting pattern. That is nice for a change. Just hope it will fit (the bonus of improvising is that it will always fit). Love the color of the mitten.
ReplyDeleteI think that's the key to creativity...
ReplyDeleteI think it shows that you have a creativity spirit when cooking and knitting!
ReplyDeleteYes, creativity! Bet you never eat the same exact meal twice. Love your post...will you unravel that mitten or create something entirely different with it?
ReplyDeleteI can only improvise with knitting if I am making a scarf ! ha ha. Actually, that's not true ... one time I improvised and turned a scarf into a purse for my daughter !
ReplyDeleteMy CORNER VIEW is up now too !
i love this green! now i´m off to see what you are reading :)
ReplyDeletehugs!
