Corner View #6

This week subject is coffee. What can I say... I love coffee! I can have it at any time of day. Here in Italy espresso is the most popular and yes, I'm addicted to it. I've always been. I like its strong taste and the feeling when caffeine starts working. These days I don't drink that much espresso as I used to- I'm a breastfeeding mummy and let myself to have only one coffee a day.

My other love is cappuccino. A cup of cappuccino and chocolate croissant = perfect beginning of a new day. To me, coffee is all about pleasure.

  10. When we fly home we always stop at the "illy" kiosk in the airport. There I get to sit across from my coffee loving husband and watch him thoroughly enjoying his espresso. It makes me wish that I drank coffee too.

  15. Yum. A colleague told me today that espresso has less caffeine than a cup of American coffee. Go figure. Love the photos.

  16. Do you dunk the croissant? I would! The smell of coffee is absolute heaven to me. If I were there with you I would let you drink it, but I would need a few sniffs. Okay, that sounds like I would actually be inhaling it! Okay.. whiffs? (Your word verification is having me spell out "whiffer".. so it must be whiffs!)

  20. Lovely photos. My daughter has a middle name which is Polish (I think!), it is Bronia, from my favourite childhood book "The Silver Sword" which is set in WWII and with Polish children - one of the children being Bronia.

  26. Oooh yes, I love espresso as well. A cappuccino sounds delicous everytime I see it, but I don't like milk, so no Cappuccio per me...unfortunately. Love to have a
